³³ He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

³⁴ He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, everything just as his father Uzziah had done. ³⁵ The high places were not eliminated, though, and the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places. He rebuilt the upper gate to the temple of the Lord.
